L’un de mariages les plus secrets et les plus importants de l’année se déroulait en fin de semaine au Madison Square Garden, à New York. Taylor Swift et Travis Kelce ont rassemblé une impressionnante brochette de vedettes pour célébrer leur union à l’abri des regards.
Après avoir été le théâtre de la finale de la NBA il y a quelques semaines, remportée par les Knicks de New York, le Madison Square Garden a accueilli une autre célébration d’envergure dans les derniers jours. Taylor Swift et Travis Kelce ont réservé rien de moins que l’amphithéâtre au complet pour se marier dans les derniers jours.
Les 2 célébrants ont choisi une fin de semaine bien spéciale pour officialiser leur union, soit celle qui marque le Jour de l’indépendance aux États-Unis (4 juillet).
Un souper de répétition aurait d’abord été organisé jeudi soir avec une centaine d’invités au Théâtre Infosys du Madison Square Garden, suivi d’une plus grande célébration vendredi dans l’amphithéâtre MSG.
D’après les informations compilées par le blogue Consequence, la célébration aurait rassemblé plusieurs invités de marque. Des artistes, des athlètes professionnels, des acteurs et des personnalités publiques auraient ainsi participé au mariage de la chanteuse pop et du joueur de football professionnel. On parlerait de près de 1 000 invités au total.
Parmi les plus connus, on comptait notamment les artistes Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Selena Gomez, Benson Boone, Paul McCartney, les actrices/acteurs Millie Bobby Brown, Brad Pitt, Jessica Alba, Adam Sandler, Bradley Cooper ainsi que les athlètes Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Wayne Gretzky, Jason Kelce pour ne nommer que ceux-ci.
C’est d’ailleurs Adam Sandler qui aurait officié la cérémonie. Le frère de Travis, Jason Kelce était à ses côtés comme garçon d’honneur alors que Taylor Swift a choisi de ne pas avoir de demoiselles d’honneur et a plutôt confié à son frère, Austin Swift, le rôle de témoin d’honneur.

Une cérémonie gardée secrète
Ce qui est impressionnant concernant ce mariage est le peu d’informations et de photos/vidéos ayant circulé en ligne. En effet, Swift et Kelce auraient fait signer des accords de confidentialité à leurs invités et aux employés du Madison Square Garden afin de ne pas ébruiter l’événement.
Une vidéo a cependant été publiée par le média Daily Mail dans laquelle on peut voir quelques images de l’intérieur de l’aréna décoré pour l’union des 2 stars. Dans la vidéo, on constate que le MSG aurait été transformé en un jardin enchanté digne d’un conte de fées. Taylor Swift aurait d’ailleurs fait son entrée à la cérémonie sur un arrangement d’une de ses propres chansons.
