En 1988, Kurt Cobain avait 21 ans. Il venait tout juste de former Nirvana et il ne savait pas que sa carrière allait changer drastiquement après la parution des albums Bleach, en 1989 et Nevermind, en 1991. Une cassette que Cobain avait mixée, alors âgé de 21 ans, vient d’être retrouvée.
L’enregistrement est assez décousu et spécial. Cela reflète bien le genre de personne que Kurt Cobain était.
