Danny Worsnop vient de confirmer qu’il quittait sa position de chanteur dans le groupe Asking Alexandria et que l’avenir du band était incertain.
Worsnop a publié un long message sur son compte Twitter où il expliquait qu’il était venu le temps pour lui de passer à autre chose. “Les 8 dernières années ont été incroyables et nous avons créé quelque chose de vraiment spécial”.
Il dit qu’il se concentrera à 100% sur son nouveau projet, We Are Harlot, à partir de maintenant.

To all of my friends and fans: I would like to let you know that Asking Alexandria and I are moving forward in separate ways. Over the last eight years together we’ve done some amazing things and created something truly special. I now, same as then, want what’s best for the band and at this point in time, that isn’t me. Asking Alexandria will continue to tour throughout the year and will be working on a new album. I will always support and love Asking Alexandria and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. I am excited for the next chapter of my life with We Are Harlot and will see you all on the road!
Même si Worsnop dit qu’Asking Alexandria va continuer de tourner sans lui, le magazine Rocksound affirme que le groupe est en hiatus pour le moment.
UPDATE: Asking Alexandria est toujours en vie. Le groupe sera au Vans Warped Tour 2015 avec un nouveau chanteur.
Asking Alexandria était de passage à Québec et Montréal le mois dernier. Personne n’était alors au courant que cette tournée serait la dernière de Danny Worsnop.
Son nouveau groupe, We Are Harlot, a lancé leur premier vidéoclip cette semaine.
Danny Worsnop avait rejoint Asking Alexandria en 2008.
